When does Gateway U happen?
Gateway U is offered three separate times a year: spring, summer and fall.  Each Gateway U session, lasting 8 weeks, includes a variety of evening classes (4 to 8 week duration) and weekend seminars (Friday night and/or Saturday).

Who teaches class?
Gateway staff members, key leaders, and respected professionals in the community teach the classes.  Details about instructors can be found on the web by clicking on the class title. 

Where do I go for class?
Classes will take place in the classrooms on the second floor of the Kid’s Quest building, unless otherwise noted.  On the day of class, head to the Kid’s building and posted signs will guide the way to your class. 

Do I really need to register…can’t I just show up?
Yes, it is important that you register in advance.  This allows us to purchase and prepare enough materials and plan for enough space.   In addition, some classes may have size limitations.

What if the class I want is full?
If a class if full, you may still register and be on the wait-list.  When a space becomes available, you will automatically be notified by email.  You will not be charged unless you actually get in the class.  The main registration page online will indicate whether a class is full.

Why are you charging for these classes?
There are facility, administrative, instructor, and material costs that go into providing classes at Gateway U.  We try to make classes affordable for everyone by charging a low administrative fee for most classes.  If finances are a concern, email gatewayu@gatewaychurch.com for assistance.
 
Does Gateway U provide childcare for all Gateway U classes?
Gateway U provides childcare for SOME, but not all, Gateway U classes.  Childcare for this session is available for the following classes:  MORPH (for large group meetings), THINK, Leading in an Imperfect World, and Preparing for Child Dedication.  Register for childcare when you sign up for your class to reserve a spot.  You may select the weeks you need childcare.

What is the cost for Gateway U childcare?
Childcare costs $7.50 per child per night, and will not exceed $15.00 per night per family.  If this cost is too high for your family budget, please call Sherilyn Villareal at 837-2162 x 245 or email
sherilyn.villareal@gatewaychurch.com.  We do not want financial limitations to prevent anyone from attending Gateway U.

What are your childcare policies?
Gateway will provide care for kids segmented by age (0-10 years).  Children will be supervised by qualified adults who have completed our screening process. The same security measures that are practiced at our weekend services will be observed.

What is your refund policy?
Many events will offer a full refund for cancellations until the end of the registration period.  Contact gatewayu@gatewaychurch.com to find out if your class does.  Once the registration period closes no refunds will be given.

What is your privacy policy?
At Gateway Church, we are committed to protecting your privacy. Each time you enter an area of the site that may require personal information we use the highest possible Internet encryption to secure your data. When you see the Secure Page symbol, you will know you have entered a secure area of the site where all available measures have been taken to ensure the safety and privacy of your information. At no time is your personal information accessible to anyone but you and at no time will we share your data, including email address, with any other organization. We may occasionally notify you via email of important Gateway Church events.
