What to Expect

Feel welcomed in our High School program, which is designed for every student despite their interests, extra-curricular hobbies, family situation or church history. We have a broad range of students that are all at different spots in their faith journey. You can expect them to engage with many in a large group setting with games, music and a challenging message from our student pastor or guest speaker. More importantly they will engage with a particular few in a small group setting. We have small group leaders assigned to specific grades/genders. Your high school student is not just another face in the crowd, they will be known and given specific attention by the same leader each week!

Our Goal: We offer high school programming every week so students can get connected and stay connected.

We believe that meeting together allows students to get connected to both their peers, small group leaders and God. Committing to meeting weekly allows students to stay connected. This develops a foundation of faith and friends as they explore and own their relationship with God.

My Experience

“My time spent at Gateway as a high school student has changed my life. Getting the opportunity to meet a ton of students and leaders, which are some of my best friends, has influenced me to become a much more faithful person. Thanks to Chris, and his challenging messages, I am on the right track in my walk with Christ.” – Ryan Albert (HS Senior)

“Volunteering within the high school ministry at Gateway has renewed our walk with The Lord; it has, and continues to, deepen our faith and grow us closer in community with other Christ-followers. We feel so blessed to be a part of such an authentic and life giving experience!” – Will & Helen Hankla (College Transition Leaders, Guest Services Leaders)
