Gateway Church started as a Small Group of men and women who shared a dream of what life could look like when they committed to loving one another and loving God. The more they invited others to experience the life giving community they created together the more people were attracted to it.
We believe that life change happens best in the context of a small group of people that are committed to caring for one another and being intentional in taking next steps for growth. We all need encouragement and challenge from others to fully become all God intended us to be.
Over one hundred life-changing groups of all kinds meet in homes throughout Austin every week; they are the key places where people at all spiritual seasons take steps in building authentic relationships, reading the Bible, encouraging one another in their relationship with God and making a difference in the lives of others by serving their neighbors.
