Serving Approach

We believe God is at work around the world and desires for us to serve one another in a wholistic way even globally. Wholistic serving is modeling God’s concern for the total well being (physical, emotional and spiritual needs) of people and their community. It means building lasting relationships and walking along side the people in need. Through wholistic ministry, we respond to the world’s brokenness by love and compassion and by being examples ourselves.

We’ve committed to serving alongside church partners in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and India. Throughout the year Gateway will announce opportunities to participate in serving trips as well as give financially to support specific projects meeting wholistic needs in those communities.

Mexico Medical Trip
Join a team of people who have spent time building relationships with a church in Piedras Negras, Mexico to help conduct a medical clinic that has helped to provide needed medical services as well as develop growing relationships. All kinds of medical, dental and vision professionals are needed as well as pharmacists and non medical to help with children’s ministry, Spanish interpreters and lots of helpers to staff the clinic. Acuna, Mexico
Gateway Men’s Ministry has developed relationships with two churches in Acuna, Mexico over the past several years. As part of those relationships, we have been assisting the Churches with building a number of homes and assisting with Church and other ministry repairs. Dominican Republic
Over the past few years Gateway has developed a partnership with Del Camino Connection, which is a network of churches who share the same vision of being one body and serving their communities.  This has given us the opportunity to serve together with our friends and partners by coming alongside them and supporting the wholitstic outreach initiated by the DCC network in the DR.  Through serving together we are able to physically, spiritually and financially contribute to these efforts while we learn how to be one body and support our partner churches who are impacting their communities in remarkable ways.  For more info, email [email protected]

We’re partnering with leaders to build a hospital and provide health care to this community in south eastern India.
