Welcome to our North Campus Blog!

Welcome to our North Campus Blog!

After months of hard work and dedication, Gateway will be announcing the launch of our newly designed website! Insert loud cheering here! And this blog is a new way of communicating to our people here at North Campus!

In a digital world, it’s vital that we make communication and information regarding our campus easily accessible for our people as well as many people who may be searching online! We understand that there has been a number of shifts and changes during the past months and navigating these times looks different for us all.

The BIGGEST thing we want you to know today is that you are not alone in this “connect with us” thing we talk about often at Gateway! We truly do desire to help you understand some simple steps you can take to connect with us:

Are you looking to meet new people? Connect with others? There are several ways to do just that! We want you to BELONG at North Campus!

  • Check out our Networks …. A Network is group of 20 or more that come together based on an affinity that meet together on a regular basis to connect socially, support each other, and serve together.
  • Community Groups are open groups designed to be a place to come and experience community for yourself and invite others along as well. Community Groups create space to cultivate relationships through meaningful conversation, sharing life together, and exploring what it means to know and follow Jesus.

Do you want to grow in your faith? Be intentional about digging deeper into Scriptures? We want you to GROW at North Campus!

  • Community Groups are open groups designed to be a place to come and experience community for yourself and invite others along as well. Community Groups create space to cultivate relationships through meaningful conversation, sharing life together, and exploring what it means to know and follow Jesus.
  • The aim of a Life Group is to intentionally pursue spiritual maturity through a deepening relationship with Jesus that results in a multiplying effect of sending others to do the same. Life Groups are not for the spiritually elite; it doesn’t matter how much or how little of the Bible you know. Life Groups are a two-year journey for anyone who chooses to do the work that growing and maturing require in learning the way of trusting and obeying Jesus for a lifetime.
  • Spiritual Growth Classes

Are you aware of a habit, hang-up, or hurt in your life? Curious around what it would look like to take steps into becoming a healthier you?  We want you to HEAL at North Campus!

  • Twice a year, we offer a variety of special-topic support classes (RESTORE) that help find hope and healing in specific areas. We also have a marriage team that offers support for marriages.
  • Our weekly faith-based 12-step program that provides support and community for those struggling with any type of addiction is happening online. Recovery meets on Thursday nights at 6:30 PM in our Garage at North Campus.

What opportunities are there for me to serve others with others? How can I make a difference by giving back? We want you to SERVE at North Campus!

  • We have many on-campus serving opportunities available! We’ll have a blog post highlighting all the opportunities available and encourage you to take a next step to learn more about those opportunities. In filling out the form, it doesn’t commit you to anything but a next step conversation with a staff member in that ministry area!
  • Feed The Community :: We have a limited number of volunteers needed to help serve our community every week. Food Pantry volunteers are needed on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30 to help prepare & set-up for serving our patrons on Wednesday. Wednesday mornings, our Food Pantry is open from 10:00-12:00 and during this season it’s designed to be a drive-thru option. Interested in serving with our Food Pantry team? Email feedthecommunity@gatewaychurch.com
  • Grow Together Garden :: We have a limited number of volunteers needed to help harvest and continue to take care of our on-campus community garden. The fresh produce from the garden is used as a part of our Food Pantry. Interested in serving with the garden? Email growtogether@gatewaychurch.com

We appreciate you taking the time to read thru this and see about what next step may be the best for you. Our hope is that we can help you take next steps to connect even in a season when connecting may seem difficult. We’re here to help you on the journey!
