Voices 2023

Don Tate is an award-winning author and the illustrator of numerous critically acclaimed books for children. Books he’s illustrated include the Roto and Roy series, books one and two (Little Brown, 2021); Swish! The Slam-Dunking, Alley-Ooping, and many more. Don is a founding host of The Brown Bookshelf, a blog dedicated to advocating for books created by African American youth literature creators. Don and his wife, Tammy, and son, Kolby, live in Austin, Texas.

In the wake of a medical emergency, Clint and his wife were shocked at the difficulty in accessing a pediatric neurologist.This led him on a journey to found "2nd.MD" and later "Medici" which provides 9 million Americans free access to the world's best doctors. As a former Chiropractor, Rugby National Champion, and entrepreneur, Clint Phillips, has been on a mission to provide easy access to quality care for decades. 

Every year we bring in some amazing people to hear their stories and how God uses them in their sphere of influence. This year we wanted to hear from people who live in Austin and are making a difference in our city and beyond.
