Here at Gateway, we respect the fact that you may want to stay anonymous for a season while you’re just checking things out. But when you are ready to step out of anonymity and into community, serving others with others is the best way to live connected. Below, we've listed some information about a few of our key ministries. Along with these, we have many other ways to serve.
Campus Serve Opportunities
Serving others with others is one of the best ways to meet people, make friends, and live connected. Below, is some information about a few of the opportunities to make an impact. Along with these, we have many other ways to serve at your campus. When you sign up, you're simply asking for more information. One of our team members will follow up with you to explore the best place for you to serve.
Creating an environment for people to truly come as they are is a core value at Gateway. Join us and help us improve this type of experience by serving on a Sunday morning and welcoming each person that shows up by directing traffic, serving coffee, or simply sharing a smile.
Want to be part of making a Sunday happen? Come join our Production Team! You don't have to have production experience- we'll train and equip you!
Our Arts Network includes singers, musicians, dancers, poets, painters, filmmakers, and graphic designers. Let us know how you would like to get involved!"
Kids and Students
Want to make a difference in the next generation? Come join our Students and Kids Teams! You don't have to know everything about the Bible or even have experience working with teenagers or kids - we'll train and equip you as you make a huge difference in the lives of families at Gateway!
I.T. (Information Technology)
We are looking for both in-person and remote volunteers for our I.T. team. We need people with experience in Helpdesk support, Desktop support, MDM, Network engineering, and Integrated communications.
Enjoy working behind the scenes? Help us set up and tear down at a portable campus, make events happen at a permanent campus, or even use your carpentry skills. We have a huge need for both weekend and midweek volunteers.
City Serve Opportunities
Along with opportunities to serve one of our Gateway campuses, you can also volunteer to serve our community. Below you will find a few of the many ways to serve those outside the walls of Gateway. View our Network Finder for a list of all active city serve opportunities.
Walk alongside refugee families as they adjust to life in America. Whether providing food, furniture, or jobs, our goal is to share the love of Jesus with these families.
Feed the Community
Help provide love, support, and organization to a diverse culture at Gateway’s food pantry.
Join the team to serve others through our partnerships with local food pantries, schools, community centers, and senior care facilities.
Justice and Reconciliation Network
Pursuing God’s heart to bring more of heaven to earth at Gateway and in Austin. Serving together in South Austin & Pflugerville
Bridging Neighbors Network
Serving those who are homeless, in subsidized housing, or incarcerated experience God’s love and a new life. Serving in South Austin & Buda
Grow Together Garden
The Grow Together Garden is a teaching garden for all ages with an emphasis on building community while raising organic vegetables and herbs for the Gateway Church food pantry.
Help provide produce for the Gateway food pantry and learn organic gardening in the process. Join us every Saturday at the back of the North Austin Campus parking lot from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM, and Tuesday evenings. No signups are needed – just show up and we will put you to work! Questions?
