Church Has Left The Building

Church Has Left The Building

Church Has Left TXT BLUE 2025
On July 6th, our church building will be closed so we can be the church in our community. Will you join us in taking the love of Christ beyond our walls?

Week 1: Starting the Journey

“We're starting our 4-week Church Has Left the Building journey today. This week, reflect on Matthew 9:35-38, as Jesus calls us to be praying earnestly. Take time this week to pray for your neighbors and ask God to show you opportunities to love those around you.”

Week 2: Encountering jesus

In our 2nd week of preparing for Church Has Left the Building, watch the video below, read through John 4:4-42, and use the guide found at the link below for reflection questions.

Week 3: Sharing Jesus

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭

Sharing Jesus

What is Church Has Left The Building?

Our Vision

Imagine how our city and world could be transformed if each of us who knew Jesus stayed connected to Him and shared our story with those around us. That’s our goal for Church Has Left The Building on July 6, 2025—to go out into our city and share both our story and Jesus’ story.

What Could July 6th Look Like?
🏠 Driveway BBQ

Host a barbecue in your driveway and invite your neighbors. Create a relaxed environment where natural conversations can happen.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Experience*

Invite friends of your children over to participate in the family experience bags.

🥾 Go on a Hike
Invite someone to join you for a hike. The natural setting creates great opportunities for meaningful conversation

☕ Lunch or Coffee
Sometimes the simplest invitation - sharing a meal or coffee - opens the door to deeper relationships.

🤝 Meet Physical Needs
Look for practical ways to serve: yard work, grocery runs, or just being present when someone needs help.
*Family Experience Bags Include: A printed craft activity, Scavenger hunt with prizes, and Ice-breaker conversation starters. These activities help you engage with other families and can be used as invitations to your home or front yard.
