Worship Night Seek First Gateway Austin

Seek First

Seek First is an opportunity to experience a strategic prayer and worship time designed to increase our ability to connect with God, recognize His voice, and value His presence. As we gather together each month and set aside time to give worship and pray a place of prominence, we are echoing back to God what David declared in Psalm 27:4 “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”

In a time of a global pandemic, political tensions, and times of great uncertainty, this “awakening” of our hearts will enable us to “shine” God’s love and hope in the world. We know to see transformation in our own lives and the lives of those in our city and beyond, we must be devoted to prayer and worship as the early church was. AWAKEN is one way we are intentionally pursuing God’s heart for awakening and revival. Join us as we pray and worship together to experience an awakening within us that will lead to awakening and revival in our city and beyond.

Tuesdays at 7:00 pm

Need Prayer - Gateway Church Austin

Need Prayer?

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises.  Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.  Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. James 5:13-15

We all need prayer. It is powerful.

Prayer is an important part of the community here at Gateway Church. We have a fantastic prayer team that is always looking for ways to pray and encourage you. As well as being available at weekend services at Gateway, they can pray for you anytime you send in a request. Please let us know how we can pray for you by filling out this quick form:
