Host Spot Request

If you would like to request an announcement from the host spot (for church-wide items only), please fill out the form below. Please know that host spot requests are at the decision of the Exec Team and cannot always be fulfilled.

Event Promotion

(PLEASE SUBMIT 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO PROMOTION START DATE)

Please make sure you are making your request at least 3 weeks prior to the date you want promotion to begin (not 3 weeks before your event). Some event promotions will necessitate coordination. Please fill out the form below with complete information, and someone from MarCom will coordinate a time to meet with you as soon as possible if needed. Please allow for 2 business days to be contacted. PLEASE NOTE: If information is incomplete, we cannot start on a request.

Social Media Post

(PLEASE SUBMIT 7-10 DAYS PRIOR IF NO GRAPHIC IS NEEDED. THREE WEEKS IF A GRAPHIC IS NEEDED.)

This form allows for you to request an independent social media post to be made through Gateway’s main channels (not including ministry-specific channels like students, etc.). Examples would be a volunteer profile or a special ministry post (not related to an event). For an event, please use the event promotion request form (see above).

PLEASE NOTE: This request will need to go through the proposal process and be approved by campus services ministry leads and/or campus pastors, depending on the nature of the post. Action on the request won’t be started until the approval has been received.

DEADLINE: 7-10 days if only editing is required; three weeks if a photographer needs to be assigned.

ALTERNATE OPTION: Any staff or volunteer can make posts directly to any Facebook group pages (e.g., Gateway Church South Austin) without using this request form.

Web Updates

NOTE: If you need to make a request for an event or class to be added to the site, please use the EVENT PROMOTION request form.

Report an error or broken link.
Request a change to a page.
Request new content.
At least 2 weeks prior for new information to be added in most cases. For new content, this could be longer.
Edits & errors reported will be handled ASAP.

Print Request

(PLEASE ALLOW FOR 3 WEEKS)

Please allow for 3 weeks for items to be printed. This time could vary based on the complexity of the design and who needs to be involved in approving the piece before it is printed.
NOTE: Please note that we are currently not able to receive print attachments in this form yet. If you have an item that simply needs printing, please fill out this form, hit “Submit,” and then Slack the item to Emily Colmore to be printed.

Other Requests

If you can’t find what you need in the other request forms, you can use this one to request something from MarCom. Please note, using this form may slow things down because it will likely require more clarification to continue processing before we can begin.

App: Push Notification

This form allows you to request that a push notification be made through Gateway’s iOS and Android apps. Examples would be a time change or cancellation for an event. For an emergency app notification need, please send a Slack notification or text message to Camille Hall. Otherwise, please allow for at least a week for the notification to be sent.

PLEASE NOTE: This request will need to be approved by campus services ministry leads and/or campus pastors, depending on the nature of the app notification. Action on the request won’t be started until the approval has been received.
