SERIES OVERVIEW
Our Allegiance
October 4th
Where do you turn when human political systems leave you feeling frustrated, anxious, or disillusioned? In Week 1 of our series, Our Allegiance, we examine the foundational truth that Jesus reigns supreme over every earthly authority, ruler, and power. Through Scriptures like Ephesians 1 and John 18, we will see that while earthly governments shift and divide, Christ’s kingdom is unshakeable and eternal. Join us as we learn to lift our eyes above the noise of election season, anchor our hope in the true King of kings, and evaluate where our ultimate loyalty lies.
Our Identity
October 11th
When the headlines are filled with disorder and division, how do we live as active change agents without letting fear or outrage drive our lives? In Week 2, Our Identity, we explore Jesus’ parables of the kingdom to understand how God’s reign quietly grows and transforms the world from the inside out. Rather than letting a news cycle or political platform define who we are, we will discover our true identity as citizens of a present-and-coming kingdom—called to plant small seeds of faith, exercise patience, and trust God’s ultimate timing.
Our Character
October 18th
It’s easy to point out a lack of integrity in political leaders, but what kind of character is the Holy Spirit cultivating in us? In Week 3, Our Character, we look at Galatians 5 and 1 Corinthians 13 to see how living under the rule of King Jesus transforms us from the inside out. Real spiritual maturity isn't achieved by striving or political debate, but by abiding in Christ and displaying the fruit of the Spirit—especially love. Join us to learn how staying rooted in Jesus can replace election-season anxiety with peace and form a character that reflects Him to a watching world.
Our Mission
October 25th
How do we navigate dual citizenship in a polarized world without sacrificing our faith or retreating from our neighbors? In our final week, Our Mission, we look at Luke 10 and Matthew 25 to see how Jesus calls us to fulfill our civic responsibilities while upholding a prophetic kingdom witness. True Christian citizenship goes beyond casting a ballot; it means actively loving our political opponents, advocating for the vulnerable, and stepping into our calling as ambassadors of reconciliation. Come discover how we can stop treating others through worldly categories and start living out concrete mercy in our communities.
