The Way
January 11, 2026 - February 1, 2026
Following Jesus is less prescriptive and more descriptive. We are given a general framework by the early disciples of how to live out the teachings of Jesus and follow his way. They are simple, but not easy, they are repeatable but grow more difficult, they allow anyone who believes to choose to follow, and all who remain faithful will grow stronger over time. We are like a tree planted by His waters, we grow strong in Him, and we become an immovable force in God’s kingdom. We will walk the entire church through the same process we walked our staff and some leaders through when it comes to what we are called to be as disciples of Jesus. We’ll read through Matthew 28 and Acts 2 each week and break down each part of the framework.
Go
What does it truly mean to “go” as a follower of Jesus? In this message, we explore Jesus’ call to live a fruitful life rooted in prayer, faithfulness, and obedience—not salesmanship or arguments. Drawing from Luke 10 and the practices of the early church, we’re reminded that our role is to represent Jesus well, build spiritual infrastructure that lasts, and trust God with the results as we live out His mission in our everyday lives.
Give
What if generosity is not about having more, but about trusting God’s abundance? Through a powerful story of an unexpected gift from a child and Jesus’ teaching in the Sermon on the Mount, this message explores how scarcity shapes our fears and how the Kingdom of God invites us into a new reality of trust, provision, and generosity. By learning to pray, release control, and steward all we have as God’s, we are invited to become like children again—open-hearted, free, and confident that God is enough.
Grow
What would it look like to step into a new year with a faith bigger than our circumstances?
As conflict, uncertainty, and fear fill the headlines, this message invites us into a different way of living—the Way of Jesus. Not a set of religious rules, but a life shaped by trust, transformation, and intentional growth.
In the early church, followers of Jesus were simply called followers of the Way. Their faith disrupted empires, crossed boundaries, and advanced God’s Kingdom one life at a time—not through power or force, but through love, obedience, and community.
Gather
Following Jesus is not a private or passive belief but a shared way of life that forms us slowly through presence, practice, and community. When the church gathers around Christ, we are replanted, reshaped, and made resilient for God’s kingdom.
