South and Central May UPDATES.

We will be adding a fourth group for this study and rotating one group away from the house each week, more details on that Monday night. This will allow us to expand the number of people we have and also to insure that the maximum number in any group is around 12 people, to insure that everyone can participate.
We have the following groups:
Men’s - Steve and Rich – Open
Mixed - Reed and Karen – FULL
Mixed - Rick and Gina – FULL
Women’s – Betsy and Renee – Open
For clarification
Open – three groups will be open for this study to allow those who are interested in men only and women only groups to experience a new depth as a group. They will only be open for two weeks, then all groups will be closed.
At the House meeting last week we revisited the tenets of the house so I have included those at the bottom of the page. The essence of the tenets is that you will attend 80% of the time. Clarification, if you travel we understand; extenuating circumstance, we understand; what we are looking for is a commitment to the group, not I will come if I feel like it. Also asking everyone to serve in some way, be involved with social events and a desire to grow in Christ.
We will have an extended time this week to ask questions during dinner, then we will be breaking up into groups, so come with an idea of where you want to be. We will take the first 12 people for each group. Then they will be capped, based on room size and optimum community.

We are a network of singles and couples from 25 to 65 and people in all stages of faith (people just checking out faith to long time Christ-followers) who live or do life in Central Austin. We meet off of 2222 in between MoPac and 360 every Monday night at 7:00pm, and we value community, friendship, spiritual growth, and serving. Each week when we meet, we start off by sharing a meal together and then breaking into small groups studies so we can learn more about faith and how it applies in our own lives. We also love to serve others, and have worked a lot with Nubian Queen Lola who tirelessly serves those are homeless on the East Side as well as any other ways we see we can meet a need.
