Your Steps in the Journey of Generosity
Whether you're giving for the first time or looking to deepen your generosity, discover where you are and take your next step in faith.
01 / First-Time Giver
I’ve never given to God at Gateway before, but I’m ready to take this first step.
02 / Intentional Giver
I’ve given to God at Gateway in the past, but I want to give on a regular basis.
Determine the amount you'd like to give ($10, $100, $500, or more) and how frequently you'd like to give that amount (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly). During setup, make sure you click on the ‘Recurring’ button when you set up your giving.
03 / Proportional Giver
I've been giving to God regularly at Gateway, but I want to begin giving 10% of my income as a biblical tithe.
Calculate what 10% of your monthly income is, then give that amount in total on a regular basis. Many people find that bi-weekly giving (or each time they get paid) is easiest.
04 / Sacrificial Giver
I’ve been tithing 10% of my income to God, but I want to stretch that percentage to a level that helps me grow my faith outside my comfort zone.
Pray and determine a new percentage over and above 10% that you feel led by God to give.
05 / Legacy Giver
I already give above and beyond my tithe to God at Gateway, but I want to make a kingdom impact that will outlive me.
Prayerfully consider assets you own that could be leveraged to support the ministries of the church. Some Gateway families have set aside a planned gift in their will or trust as part of their estate design.

David & Danielle's Story
What started as a difficult conversation (and an unexpected intervention!) turned into a 24-month journey of teamwork, truth, forgiveness, and God’s grace.
This is a story about:
- choosing honesty over hiding
- becoming a team instead of carrying burdens alone
- letting Jesus reshape how we see money, marriage, and each other
- learning that our money isn’t ours—it’s His
Beyond Scarcity Series
Our finances reveal where our hearts truly are, and God calls us to trust Him by giving generously. What does my giving say about where my heart is? What role does fear play in being generous financially?
Freed Up Financial
There are more scriptures in the Bible about money than there are about prayer and faith combined. Yet the percentage of Christians that actually manage their money using Biblical wisdom is relatively low. FreedUp offers culturally-current resources to help guide and equip believers to manage money in healthier ways, through Biblical wisdom.
Gateway offers Freed Up Financial classes in the Spring and the Fall. For more information, visit their website:
